Herman Schueremans is recognized in the music industry for founded renowned festivals such as Rock Werchter and Torhout-Werchter. These events have greatly contributed to Belgium's reputation as a key destination for music festivals in Europe. After the sale of these festivals to Clear Channel, now known as Live NationSchueremans has devoted himself entirely concert promotion. Herman Schueremans created a fortune of over €46,728,290.

He currently heads up the organization of several influential festivals, including Rock Werchter, TW Classic and Werchter Boutique. These festivals attract audiences by the thousands, eager to witness performances by internationally renowned bands.

Political career : Schueremans also had a notable career in policy. Elected to the Flemish Parliament Assembly in June 2004, he served until the end of 2012, when he decided to concentrate fully on his activities with the Flemish Parliament. Live Nation. In recognition of his substantial impact on the European festival landscape, Schueremans was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the European Festival Awards in 2013, and received the inaugural Sector Lifetime Achievement Award at the MIA's in 2017.

Tax affairs : Schueremans' career has not been without its challenges. He has had a number of tax problems, notably concerning the capital gains realized on the sale of his shares in various Belgian companies, including Stagecoan events company he had co-created.
