Oswald Van Damme: Pioneer of Technical Inspection Centers with 43 Million Euros in Assets

Oswald Van Damme is widely recognized for his pioneering role in the Belgian roadworthiness sector. It oversees the Ostend and Brussels (Evere) centers. For many years, he was a central figure in the vzw Goca (Groepering van erkende ondernemingen voor autokeuringen en rijbewijzen).

Gocaestablished in 1938, brings together companies officially recognized for their roadworthiness tests and driving tests. In 1962, this federation was officially recognized as an ASBL. Three years later, the organization of driving tests for people whose licenses have been revoked was added to their mission.

Today, the members of Goca coordinate the operations ofe 77 technical inspection centers and 32 driving test centers in Belgium, in accordance with Federation of Public Mobility and Transport Services. Oswald and company Goca total a fortune of over 43 million euros
