In 2019, the billionaire Filip Balcaen bought 30 % of the company's shares after a bidding battle with House of HR. With Balcaen, Rousseau acquired The Human Network in the Netherlands in 2021, adding IT profiles to its portfolio. Other acquisitions include Pragmatics, EMC, Quintessence and Human Supports Medical. In Germany, EasyCare was integrated to strengthen the nursing profiles division.
