Hun bedrijf heeft zich veel verder ontwikkeld dan eenvoudige laad- en losactiviteiten en biedt nu innovatieve logistieke oplossingen die een grotere toegevoegde waarde leveren aan de sector en het milieu.<strong> met een persoonlijk fortuin van \u20ac2.800.000.000 (2,8 <a href=\"https:\/\/lama-fortune.com\/tag\/milliard\/\">Miljarden<\/a>)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>In het publieke debat over havenkwesties neemt Huts vaak een assertief standpunt in, soms door middel van open brieven die als advertenties in de pers worden gepubliceerd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Politieke carri\u00e8re en burgerlijke betrokkenheid:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Fernand Huts werd verkozen <strong>VLD vertegenwoordiger<\/strong> in 1995, maar viel op door zijn afwezigheid in het parlement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Karine Huts was niet succesvol in haar kandidatuur voor een zetel in de Senaat voor de VLD in 1999.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hun betrokkenheid strekt zich uit
