Sam Baro, entrepreneur from Belgium's Meetjesland region, is renowned for his esteemed heritage. to 39.5 million euros. It is best known as Planet Groupa company operating in the temporary employment sector and located in Gent. Ranked 487th in his field, Baro began his career in recruitment before founding IT-Planet, a company specializing in IT recruitment.

Over the years, its range of services has expanded with the creation of HR-Planet, which seconded human resources experts, and X-Care In Motion, which met temporary staffing needs in the healthcare sector. These companies are grouped together under the holding Diamond HR Group, 30 % of which were acquired by Creafund for 30 million euros. Baro made headlines with its acquisition of AA Gent soccer club for the same amount, independently of Creafund's investments.

In 2019, Baro attracted attention with the purchase of 50 electric BMW i3s, establishing its corporate fleet as one of the greenest in the whole of Belgium. Active in his home town of Assenede, he has invested in real estate buying and renovating historic buildings on the local market.

He also lives in the former Château Roegiers near the Oosteeklo forests. He recently acquired Château de Jemeppe, an estate with leisure and accommodation facilities, which he integrated into the newly-formed company Château de Jemeppe s.a., with a start-up capital of 0.5 million euros.
